1. Eligibility
TLS competitions are open to players aged 18 and over. Players under 18 may participate with written parental or guardian consent. Players under 13 require enhanced parental consent under UK GDPR. TLS reserves the right to refuse entry at its discretion. By entering a competition you confirm you meet the eligibility requirements.
2. Registration
Players must register before entering any TLS competition. Registration is free. A valid Toptracer username is required. Your Toptracer username must match the name on your submitted scorecard exactly. Providing false information may result in disqualification and removal from TLS.
3. Skill-Based Competition Legal Status
TracerLeague Series competitions are skill-based contests. All competition outcomes are determined entirely by measurable ball striking performance as recorded by Toptracer ball-tracking technology. No element of chance determines any TLS competition result. TLS competitions are not lotteries or gambling products and are operated under the prize competition provisions of the Gambling Act 2005. The use of Toptracer Virtual Golf mode which eliminates putting and determines every hole result by physical ball striking accuracy constitutes a genuine, measurable and verifiable skill-based format.
<4. Prize Distribution
Prizes are awarded per division subject to the number of entrants. Up to five places may be recognised at the founder's discretion. Awards may include cash prizes paid as golf club credit, range credit or vouchers for any golf retailer, or free entry into the following competition. Free entry awards are valid for the immediately following competition only and are non-transferable. A minimum of 65% of total entry fees will be distributed as prizes across all divisions. Prize values are confirmed on competition close once all entries are counted and are announced alongside results. All prize decisions are at the founder's discretion. TracerLeague Series retains the remainder to fund platform operations, prize administration, competition development and business costs. This minimum guarantee will not be reduced without 30 days prior written notice to all registered members.
5. Entry Fees and Refunds
Entry fees are non-refundable once a competition has opened. Prize pot weighting is calculated on the basis of confirmed paid entries per division. Players who enter and pay but do not submit a valid score forfeit their entry fee. No refund is issued in these circumstances. If a competition is cancelled by TLS before any player has submitted a score, full refunds will be issued within 14 days. If a competition is cancelled after scores have been submitted, prize money will be distributed to players who submitted valid scores on a pro-rata basis. Entry fees are confirmed per event and published before each competition opens.
6. Score Submission
Players must submit scores via the official TLS score submission form at tracerleagueseries.com. A photograph of the Toptracer results screen must be provided with every submission. The scorecard photograph must clearly show the player's Toptracer username, all hole scores and Mulligans: 0. Scores must be submitted before the competition closing date and time. Only the player's best valid submission counts if multiple scores are submitted.
7. Fair Play
Mulligans are strictly prohibited in all TLS competitions. Any score achieved using a mulligan will be disqualified. Players must play from the tees and on the course specified for each competition. Attempts to manipulate scores or submit fraudulent scorecards will result in permanent disqualification from all TLS competitions. TLS reserves the right to request additional verification of any submitted score.
8. TLS Handicap
The TLS Handicap is a proprietary virtual golf ability score calculated from a player's TracerLeague Series stroke play competition history. It is separate from and may differ from a player's official WHS golf handicap. Provisional TLS Handicaps are assigned at registration based on self-assessment or official handicap submission. Players may be asked to provide a screenshot of their official WHS handicap before their first competition entry is confirmed. The maximum provisional TLS Handicap is 36 for all players regardless of gender. Official TLS Handicaps are calculated after three completed stroke play competitions. Players with a plus handicap register as Division 1 and compete at scratch for net score calculation purposes. Skills game competitions do not contribute to TLS Handicap calculation stroke play competitions only. Divisions apply to all TLS competition formats including skills games. Your division is determined by your TLS Handicap or provisional handicap at registration. TLS reserves the right to reclassify a player's division after any competition where submitted scores are inconsistent with declared or calculated ability. No notice period is required for division reclassification. Players confirm at registration that their declared handicap is current and accurate and that protecting the integrity of each division is a condition of TLS membership.
9. Prizes
Prizes are awarded to division winners as confirmed per competition. Prize values are stated at competition launch. Prizes are delivered as range credit, golf vouchers or golf retailer credit unless otherwise stated. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners must claim prizes within 30 days of announcement.
10. Changes to These Terms
TracerLeague Series reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Amendments will be communicated to registered members via TLS communication channels with a minimum of 14 days notice before taking effect. Continued participation in TLS competitions following notification of amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Amendments will not apply retrospectively to competitions that have already opened and for which entry fees have been collected.
12. Community Values and Membership Approval
TracerLeague Series is built to be a genuinely inclusive space. We welcome golfers of every background, gender, ethnicity, age, ability and sexual orientation. That commitment is non-negotiable and central to everything TLS stands for. TLS membership is subject to approval by the Founder. TracerLeague Series reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership at the sole discretion of the Founder where an applicant's or member's conduct, publicly expressed views, social media activity or behaviour are deemed inconsistent with the values and inclusive ethos of TracerLeague Series. This includes but is not limited to conduct that is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, discriminatory or hateful toward any individual or group. Where membership is refused or revoked on these grounds, no refund will be issued for any competition entry fees already paid. By registering and ticking "I Agree" you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to uphold the values of TracerLeague Series as a condition of membership.
13. Data Protection
TLS collects and processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. Player data is used solely for competition administration, prize delivery, membership screening and TLS communications. Data is never sold or shared with third parties without consent. Players may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting hello@tracerleagueseries.com. These Terms and Conditions were last updated May 2026. They are subject to English law. TLS strongly recommends all players read these terms in full before registering or entering any competition.
